The lake area provides both public and
private school systems for primary and secondary education. The
schools have programs that promote learning, teamwork,
self-discipline, civic responsibility and offer academic challenges
for all levels. Continuing education is also convenient with the
University of Georgia, Georgia College & State University, Macon
State University and various Technical Colleges within just a short
drive.
